A brief history of Inospin
Originally, Inospin (formerly known as Biowebspin) developed online free tools for researchers in Life Sciences and Chemistry, such as online applications allowing to search publications by influence based on their Citimpact (Inospin’s proprietary scoring for which more than 1 million scores are calculated each year). The network of users grew very fast. Meanwhile, Inospin’s academic community asked for help to find funding for their research.
On the other side, top industrial companies, historically pharma companies, reached out for help identifying novel innovative projects and collaboration opportunities in academia through Inospin’s network. As the first results were promising and companies very satisfied by this “new and unique way to know what is happening directly in the labs all around the world”, Inospin transformed its platform to focus on connecting academia / start-ups and industry on all scientific innovation fields.
Today, with its 2.5 million researchers, Inospin is the leading partnering platform between academia / start-ups and industry in Pharma & Biotech, Veterinary, Crop Science & Agriculture, Food & Beverages, Medtech, Consumer Care & Cosmetics, Chemistry, Material Sciences, IT and Engineering.
